At the time that you are reading this, I have embarked upon the start of a busy third quarter. The first six months of 2024 were filled with obstacles, challenges and opportunities to grow, evolve, and become the next best version of myself. While I have been forced to confront more self-limiting beliefs and perceptions, I have also experienced some of the most profound breakthroughs in my life. I’m becoming the next best version of myself and I am proud of the growth that is happening in my life. Just as we have officially started summer, you must embrace the next season of your life. You cannot afford to get stuck in a season because it will cost you significant moments in your life. Dare to embrace your next!

  1. You must understand that seasons change. While we understand this in theory, I do not think we truly grasp the fact that things cannot stay the same in our lives. After all, we are in a constant state of evolution. If we do not evolve, our lives become stuck and stagnant. Most of all, if we fail to evolve we become dominated by patterns, trapped in cycles, and bound to a version of ourselves that does not fit the new season in our lives. As much as we want things to stay the same, you must come to terms with the fact that seasons change and every season has significance in your life. One of the most tragic things is to lack the ability to discern the wisdom and significance of a season. Take advantage of every season and pay attention to the lessons that every season of your life wants to teach you.
  2. You cannot afford to fight change. If you have been following my journey, then you know that 2023 brought tremendous change in my life. It was uncomfortable but necessary for me to embrace what was next for my life. While I was aware that 2024 would present me with more changes, I did not know that I would have to embrace change at an even greater level. As I have been forced out of my comfort zone, I have learned so much about myself and life. I have discovered capabilities, capacity and tapped into courage that I did not even know that I had. Most of all, my mind has been expanded and I have been exposed to new possibilities for my life. If you fight change, you will ultimately forfeit the life that you were born for. At some point, you will have to understand that seasons will change and you must be willing to change with the seasons of your life. The more you fight change the more you are robbed of progress and the opportunity to become the person that you were born to be. Fighting change will always result in future seasons of loss and regret.
  3. You must purpose to grow. Over the last six months, I can honestly say that I have grown more than at any other time in my life. Why is that? I have been more intentional about growth than at any other time in my life. I have always been committed to growth and development. However, this year it is like a flame has been ignited on the inside of me. I have been more determined to grow, develop, and emerge as the next best version of myself. Growth is something that you must be intentional about. In other words, if you do not prioritize your growth then you will never grow. Too many people assume that growth happens in time. From personal experience, I can tell you that growth happens with concentration and intention. You must devote time daily and weekly to your growth. It is also important to note that growth is not something that you can outsource. Growth is something that you must be willing to give yourself to if you want to live at the next level.
  4. You must embrace what is next for your life. Honestly, 2024 has already been an incredible year for me and there are still six months left in this year. I am living on purpose and living the life that I was born for. As great as this year has been, I am more committed than ever to embracing what is next for my life. You may be wondering how to embrace what is next for your life. So I want to give you some action steps to help you get from where you are to where you want to be. First of all, if you want to embrace what is next for your life you need to get clarity. A vague vision will never produce a victorious life. Take the time to get crystal clear about where you are and where you want to go. The absence of clarity always results in confusion. Next, I would say devise a plan to help you embrace what is next for your life. In other words, formulate your vision into micro steps that you can take on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. The more specific you become the more empowered you are for success. Ultimately, if you really want to embrace what is next for your life, then you have to be willing to say goodbye to fear. Your fears want to keep you trapped in cycles of familiarity. On the other hand, your faith wants to thrust you into your prophetic future. In order to have what you have never had, you must be willing to do what you have never done before. Furthermore, if you want to become more then you must be willing to pursue more for your life. The pursuit of more will always put you on a collision course with prophetic destiny. To embrace what is next for your life you must dare to live on the edge of your potential.
