As many of you know, I have been writing extensively about crisis over the last few months. However, I felt it was important to shift gears and to share some insights with you about taking your life to the next level. So many people around the world are stuck inside. Unfortunately, few people have realized that in the midst of this crisis and quarantine is an incredible opportunity. While I am not saying that you have to hustle every single moment, I am saying that you need to honor this moment and use it as a catalyst to momentum and manifestation in your life. I want to talk with you about having the courage to make the climb. New levels are always possible for your life but you have to have the audacity to make the big leap. I hope these insights will inspire you and incite you to make some changes in your life.

  1. You have to come to the conclusion that it is time to make a change in your life. While we may not be able to control all the events that are currently happening in the world, you can use this as an opportunity to commit to making a change in your life. In fact, the one thing that you are always in control of is your attitude. Even before COVID-19, many people were frustrated, drained, and desperately in need of a change in their lives. The current circumstances may not be ideal but it is an opportunity to make a change in your life. If you do not like the direction that you are life is headed in, then you have the opportunity to change your course. If you want to break a cycle in your life, this is your opportunity to reverse cycles and see a radical change in your life. If you want to improve in an area, then this is the time to take intentional action to see transformation in your life. Choose to make this moment count and manifest change in your life. It is not enough to acknowledge that something needs to change in our life. You must take it a step further and take action to change your life. Never forget that all change in your life begins with you.
  2. All change in life demands action. As someone that has empowered people around the world to reach their full potential, one of the things that I have noticed is that most people stop at simply acknowledging that something in their life needs to change. It is nothing wrong with the acknowledgment that something needs to change in your life. On the other hand, I know from personal experience that acknowledgment without action only produces abortion in your life. In other words, awareness that does not lead to action is simply avoidance. Avoidance is one of the greatest enemies of your advancement. You have an abundance of time right now. So stop putting off for tomorrow what is in your power to change today. One small action today has the power to propel big shifts in your life tomorrow. One thing I know to be true is that you will regret the opportunities that you did not seize. However, you rarely regret taking action and deciding to move in a different direction. Regret is born out of inaction. Inaction ultimately dishonors the seed of your potential. You do not live at the level of your aspiration. You live at the level of your action. All achievement in life follows action, not ambition.
  3. You will never make the climb without courage. Honestly, many people look at my life today and they are astonished. What they fail to realize is that my life today is a product of the seeds I sowed in a previous season. This moment in my life is the manifestation of years of development. Also, I want you to understand that all success has a price tag attached to it. If you want what you have never had, then you must be willing to do what you have never done. In other words, success is a climb and you will never make the climb without courage. Courage is not the absence of fear or obstacles. Courage is simply possessing the faith to overcome every obstacle that stands in your way. Courage does not necessarily make the mountain smaller. Courage simply empowers you with the strength to ascend to new heights of success and greatness. Audacity is the catalyst for ascension and advancement. Many of you have read my books and followed my life for years. You know that this journey has not been easy. I have had moments where I have questioned if I had what it took. In addition, I have had moments where trying to breathe at new altitudes was incredibly challenging. I have wanted to give up and throw in the towel on several occasions. However, the reason I am still standing and have seen success in my life is that I have learned how to be courageous. I have learned how to see my giants as too big to miss and my battles as impossible to lose. Every storm and every test has shown me strength, power, and capacity that I did not even know that I possessed. So I can say with assurance that you have everything you need to ascend to the highest heights of success. You have to simply stop being afraid and start having the audacity to push the boundaries of what is possible for your life.
  4. Never waste the asset of time. I know that some of you are wondering did I mean to say that time is an asset. However, anybody that knows me will tell you that time is precious in my life. I do not waste time and I am very careful about what I make time for in my life. Many people are complaining about COVID-19 and being stuck at home. However, my perspective on this crisis is much different. You are not stuck at home but you are blessed to be safe at home. While we would all like to see life get back to a sense of normalcy, I believe that this crisis has presented us with an incredibly valuable opportunity. Personally, this time has allowed me to complete several online courses, work on my next book, read several books, and even establish new relationships in my life. In fact, I have seen my brand equity increase 75–85% since the quarantine started. How have I been able to do that? I made the decision not to waste time. I could scroll social media for hours and waste time on everyone else's timelines. Or I could use the asset of time and be productive. You can complain about what is going on in the world. Or you can take a course, learn a new skill, develop new relationships, and raise your value in the marketplace. What you do with your time will define how you are perceived in this post-COVID-19 economy. Time is precious and you need to invest your time in something productive. You will never get this time back. So use this time wisely and come through this crisis a better person.
