Finish Strong: A Final Message for 2021

Well, we are just a few weeks away from ending 2021. Honestly, I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that it is December. Where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday I was writing to you and wishing you success in 2021. Now we stand at the end of another year. I hope that you can look back on the last twelve moments with a sense of accomplishment. If not, I hope that you will take some time to reflect and make adjustments so that 2022 can be a better year for you. I want to share a few insights on finishing strong so that you can set the course for success and prosperity in 2022 and beyond. My prayer for you is that you will dare to finish 2021 strong!

  1. Take some time and assess your year. While many people try to avoid this, the reality is that avoidance is one of the greatest barriers to your advancement. So take some time and assess your productivity and results in 2021. Do not lie to yourself and say that you had a good year and everything is fine. No, you need to invest the time and energy in examining what went well, what could have been better, and what changes you need to make in 2022. I discovered decades ago that without assessment we will never make the necessary adjustments in our lives. Assessment empowers us to discover what is not working so that we can create the strategies and systems that propel our lives forward. Anything that you are unwilling to assess will always be a place of defeat in your life. Assessment is a catalyst to your achievement.
