Desire: The Genesis of Success

Well, the first month of 2024 is coming to a close. Unfortunately, this is the point where many begin to lose momentum, abandon their dreams, and give up on their goals. I do not want that to be the case for you though. If you have already fallen off the wagon, you can get back up and still make this the greatest year of your life. I want to talk with you about the power of desire and how it has empowered me to realize my dreams. Desire is the seed for greatness. More importantly, desire is the catalyst for unlocking new realms and dimensions in your life.

1. Your dreams will die without desire. As you know, I have trained, developed, and empowered leaders around the world to fulfill purpose and realize their greatest potential. When I sit down with leaders, I look for several key things. However, the most important thing that I look for is desire. I want to see if a person possesses the passion to make their dreams a reality. When I do not see the spark of desire, I know that the success of that individual will be derailed. On the other hand, when I see desire I know that nothing will be able to derail the success of that individual. Your dreams will die without desire. It is noble to make resolutions and set goals. However, without desire, the dreams in your heart will die and never become a reality. Make 2024 the year that you use desire as the catalyst for embracing a different reality in your life.
2. You must fuel desire. It is one thing to have a desire. However, it is another thing to be able to sustain a desire. Many people ask me how I have been consistently able to achieve my goals and realize my dreams. Thed key to my success has been getting around people who light my fire. In other words, I do not tolerate dream killers in my life. Too many people have stocked their lives with dream killers and purpose extinguishers. You need to surround yourself with people who ignite faith, hope, and passion in you to go after the life that you were born for. Your inner circle is deciding your future. Furthermore, your inner circle will either cripple your potential or serve as the catalyst for unlocking your greatest potential. Every single day of your life you need to fuel desire. The more you fuel desire the more it will become an inextinguishable flame.
3. You must speak your desires. While getting around people who ignite your passion is important, the reality is that nobody can ignite your passion like you can. If you have followed my work for any length of time, I am sure that you have heard me talk bout the power of words. I believe that words are a prophetic seed for your future. My life and work are respected around the world today. However, I remember a time when all I had was hope and vision in my heart. I watered that vision with words and I watched it grow into something extraordinary. Over the years, I have learned that you have to speak life into your desires. In other words, you must set aside time daily to affirm your desires. I’ve learned that what you speak about you will ultimately bring about. More importantly, what you affirm you will attract into your life. 2024 is going to be an incredible year for you. So I want you to start speaking your desires until they grow big in your heart and create an expectation in your life. You have to speak your desires into existence until they become a reality in your life. All manifestation begins with the seeds of thoughts and words.
4. You must act on your desires. Everything that I have shared with you is good. However, if you miss this point, then you have missed a critical key to manifestation in your life. Often we will think about our desires and even speak about our desires. On the other hand, we will never take the next step and act on our desires. Stop believing the lie that you have to see the entire picture before you can take action. Success is attracted into your life one step at a time. You may not have all the money. You may not have all the relationships. At the same time, there is some action you can take to see your desires become a reality. What action are you refusing to take that has the power to alter the trajectory of your life forever? From personal experience, I can tell you that you will never have it all figured out. However, faith does not have to know all the details to take action. Action is the greatest affirmation of your faith. Action is the seed for the actualization of your greatest desires.
