4 Foundational Keys for Manifesting Your Goals

It’s hard to believe that we are already approaching the end of the first quarter. I was looking over some reports the other day and it seems time is moving extremely fast. Personally, I am on track with my goals for 2018 and I have already seen so many goals accomplished and dreams fulfilled. I hope that you have had a great start to this new year. Sadly, statistics have proven that by January 31st most people totally abandon their resolutions and return to life as usual. I do not want that to be the case for you this year. Time is too valuable to be wasted. Do not spend another year repeating mistakes and rehearsing the past. Make a decision that 2018 is the year that you will defy the odds and break the cycle once and for all. Here are a few strategies for manifesting your goals and maximizing your potential.

  1. You must cultivate uncommon focus. One thing I have learned over the years is that you kill your dreams when you do not focus on one thing. You cannot afford to be a jack of all trades and a master of none. Over the years, I have watched people move from project to project and never accomplish anything. One of the most powerful things you can do is to master one thing in your life. Find one key area and give your full attention to that thing. I’ve learned over the years that you only advance in what you give your undivided attention to. This year do not create a massive list of goals. Instead you should focus on three to five main goals. Most importantly, give yourself to one goal at a time. You only grow in what you give yourself to. Never forget that you must be present to make progress. You never reach the next dimension in life being divided.
  2. You must develop stamina for the journey. It is great to have ambition. However, sometimes ambition can become an adversary to your assignment. Ambition will have you doing everything but neglecting the valuable things. This is why so many people give up and never fulfill their destinies. Your energy must be poured into the things that elevate your life. Otherwise, you will be exhausted and empty with no fuel to step into your future. I discovered years ago the importance of pacing myself. In other words, stop trying to be all things to all people. Stop feeling guilty for making your personal growth and development a priority in your life. Never allow the immediacy of a moment to stand in the way of living out your intentional mission. This year make a decision that you will not allow anything to pull you away from your priorities. You will always be drained when you devote yourself to the wrong pursuits. Pursue the most important priorities.
  3. Your goals must be supported by strategy. It is great to set goals and have a vision for your life. However, without strategy most goals never get accomplished. New levels require new learning. Elevation always requires education. Most people have no clue how to move from goal setting to goal manifestation. Your goals have to be broken down into manageable action steps. Until a goal becomes manageable you will never accomplish it. Strategy will always determine the distance between you and your goal. Without strategy success becomes less attainable. Success is attractive to everyone but it is not attained by everyone. One of the greatest skills you can develop is change management skills. Every phase of the process will demand change and necessitate growth. We grow in stages but we gain through strategy. Allow your experiences to expand you and propel exponential growth in your life. Each stage has a piece and there is a strategy for every process. The puzzle of your destiny unfolds through perception. Strategy empowers you to navigate seasons and achieve uncommon success. Strategy makes the process clear and the promise closer.
  4. You must be adaptable. One of the things I have learned over the years is that you must remain adaptable. I had grand and lofty plans for my life. However, I realized that the divine plan for my life was much greater than my plans. Therefore, I had to be willing to adjust and adapt. Honestly, it was a very uncomfortable process for me but it was worth it. You are benefiting from years of calibration and course correction. You cannot become so set on one path or one outcome. Remain flexible if you want to fulfill your prophetic destiny. Change management is a skill that not many possess in this generation. Too often we fall apart the moment our plans fail. Realize that process is necessary to prepare you for your destiny. Often we think we are ready when we are not truly ready to be released. Adaptability will give you the ability to remain consistent even in the midst of adversity. Every great person has to be worked on. More importantly, there are things that have to be worked out of you. Process is the only authentic avenue for your perfection. Never despise what is being divinely engineered to develop you for greatness.
